🧪Add Odyssey Testnet Network

This page serves as the instructional guide of adding the Odyssey Testnet Network to your MetaMask wallet.

Overview

This document will explain the Odyssey Blockchain testnet integration steps and will give a high level overview of the Current nodes structure.

Odyssey Testnet Details

Odyssey Chain Testnet will be reachable through the following information:

• Network Name: Odyssey Testnet

• RPC URL: https://testnode.dioneprotocol.com/ext/bc/C/rpc

• Chain ID: 13

• Symbol: DIONE

• Block Explorer URL: Adding soon once Odyssey Scan is deployed

Connecting to the Metamask

The following instructions are valid only for MetaMask wallet. You must first download and install the MetaMask wallet app on your mobile phone or the MetaMask extension for your browser in order to carry out the below instructions properly. You can download MetaMask wallet here.

Step 1 - Login to Metamask Wallet

Connecting MetaMask to Odyssey Testnet is a rather straightforward process. Once you’ve logged in to the MetaMask wallet, click on the Ethereum mainnet drop-down menu and select Add Network, as shown below.

Step 2 - Manually add Network

A new tab will appear which will shows a list of networks configurations. Please select Add a network manually, as shown below.

Step 3 - Add the Odyssey Chain network

You will be redirected to the “Add a Network” page, where you’ll need to add the following information:

• Network Name: Odyssey Testnet

• RPC URL: https://testnode.dioneprotocol.com/ext/bc/C/rpc

• Chain ID: 13

• Symbol: DIONE

• Block explorer URL: Adding soon once Odyssey Scan is deployed

Click on “Add” to complete the process. You’re now ready to use MetaMask on Odyssey Testnet. You can click on “Switch to Odyssey Testnet” to use Odyssey blockchain.
