🏴Current Problems

The global energy sector is more than 90% β€œoff track” to decarbonize itself. The trio of the energy industry - including the producers, distributors, and suppliers, is not taking sufficient steps at the required pace to decarbonize the planet.

Apart from using non-renewable sources for energy production, the other areas of concern include operational inefficiencies for energy utility companies and regulators, lack of transparency and visibility for all the users, higher capital requirement, (next to zero) incentivization, the absence of microgrids in many regions, lack of investment access, lengthy processes, energy theft in underdeveloped countries and centralized systems that are prone to data manipulation, corruption, and cybersecurity attacks.
